Jack London's Biography November 08, 2015

Having grown up in rural Ontario, Canada Jack’s keen sense to entertain and appreciate any audience has afforded him a loyal fan base and many successful concerts dates. He has 10 albums to his credit and numerous music videos on You Tube which include a blend of cover tunes and original compositions. Jack’s songs are woven with a positive message covering topics as social events, love and people. As a recording engineer, producer and arranger, Jack creates a musical flavour capturing the song’s essence, intent and vision. Jack’s formal music training began with drums and percussion with various jazz/big band instructors and studied classical vocal training with classical composer Henry Clark and Gordon Scott of the Stratford Theatre Music Group. Jack’s academic career includes a Bachelors Degree from the University of Western Ontario and additional studies at Fanshawe College and York University.

Jack embarked the club circuit where he garnished a multiple year recording contract, a weekly spot on the an award winning TV show and a songwriting award from SOCAN. It was on the TV show Jack worked with Shania Twain.

In 2011 Jack was commissioned to compose the theme song for the "Portrait of Honour" Canadian tour. He recently wrote, recorded and produced a video for the bicentennial celebration of the War of 1812. One of his most recent cherished compositions and video is a song he composed in memory of Tori Stafford. All compositions can be found on YouTube.

Jack has since expanded his shows performing as a tribute to John Denver and Glen Campbell. The show boasts videos, articulate sound and lighting, narration, voiceovers, costumes changes, handouts, and lots of audience participation. Jack’s uncanny resemblance and vocal styles of both acts lands him several shows in many theaters in Ontario and abroad.

Jack continues to perform, write songs, engineering and producing recording projects from gospel to rock to country to orchestral ensembles to radio jingles and voiceovers. His portfolio also includes video productions, shooting, directing, and editing music videos for himself and other performers.
